This dialog allows you to edit the action associated with a control (for specifying what should happen when a control condition is met).

This editor is primarily used for editing composite actions (refer to the Controls topic for more information about composite actions).

Navigation

From the Controls Editor, click the Edit Composite dropdown and choose Edit “Then” Action (or Edit “Else” Action).

Overview

The toolbar along the top of the dialog provides the following tools: New and Delete.

• New – Create a new action.
• Delete [Del] – Delete the selected actions.
  Note: You cannot delete the first action in the table (controls must have at least one action).

The table in the center of the dialog shows the list of actions. Refer to the Controls Editor – Columns for more information about the columns in this table.

Adding a new action

1. Click the New toolbar button to add a new action.
2. Fill out the Action fields:
   1. Use the Then Element field to interactively select an element from the drawing (e.g., a Pump).
   2. Specify the Then Setting, and Then Action.
